Prayer for Work

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of work and the opportunity to use my skills and talents for Your glory. As I go about my tasks today, I pray for strength and wisdom. Your Word says in Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Help me to give my best effort, not for recognition or reward, but to honor You in everything I do.

Lord, guide my hands and my mind so that I may complete my work with excellence and integrity, reflecting the truth of Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Let my actions be a testimony of my faith and bring encouragement to those around me.

In moments of challenge, remind me of Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Grant me patience, humility, and joy, even in the smallest tasks. May I always remember that my true purpose is to serve You and others.

Bless the work of my hands, Lord, and let it be fruitful. Keep me steadfast and focused, trusting that You will supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Thank You for walking with me every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer to Increase Faith

Loving Father, You are the source of all hope and strength. I humbly come before You, longing for a deeper and unshakable faith. When doubts creep in or fear clouds my heart, remind me of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 that You are always with me, upholding me with Your righteous right hand. Help me to trust in Your perfect plan, even when I do not understand, for You work all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, like the disciples asked in Luke 17:5, I too pray, “Increase my faith.” Let my faith not waver but grow steadfast, rooted in the assurance of Your love and the truth of Your Word. Fill my heart with peace, for You have not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

May I always remember that Your grace is sufficient for me, and Your power is made perfect in my weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Guide my steps, Lord, and help me to walk boldly in the path You have laid before me. I place my trust entirely in You, knowing You are my rock and salvation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Departed Loved Ones

Heavenly Father,
You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4),
and in Your mercy, You have promised eternal life to those who believe in Your Son (John 3:16).
We entrust our beloved [Name(s)] into Your loving hands.

Lord, we know that Jesus is the resurrection and the life;
those who believe in Him will live, even though they die (John 11:25).
We pray that their souls rest in Your peace and are now in Your presence,
where there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).

Grant them eternal rest, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon them (Revelation 21:23).
May they hear Your voice saying,
“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your master” (Matthew 25:21).

Comfort us, Lord, as we grieve, reminding us of the hope we have in Christ Jesus.
For You have promised that nothing in all creation
can separate us from Your love in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).
